This is Mark's first year as the skipper of the freshmen team. A former Eagle, Mark was a three year varsity starter on the baseball and football teams. A key member of the 2004 State Champion baseball team, Mark earned 1st team All-Kingco and 2nd team All-State his senior year. Also during his senior year, he earned 1st team All-Kingco, Kingco Player of the Year, and 1st team All-State for his QB skills on the gridiron. Mark continued to play two sports at Santa Rosa Junior College where he was a member of the 2005 NorCal State Champion baseball team. Mark began his coaching career as an assistant to Alan Patrick with the 15U Eastside Grizzlies and in 2008 managed the 13U Issaquah Thunder.

Joined the staff as an assistant coach for the freshmen team in 2001. Moved up to head coach for the freshmen team for two seasons (2002, 2003). Was an assistant coach for the JV team in 2004 and returned to the freshmen team as an assistant coach in 2005, where he is currently coaching. Has coached summer ball for 7 years at various levels.
