Kids and Baseball

A day to reflect on life and the game of baseball .First my hart goes out to the family of pitcher Nick Adenhart’s of the California angels 22 years old is to young to die. I can not even know what pain a parent feels after losing there child. It truly is a sad day again all are prays go out to Nick’s family and the California angels players and coach’s.

Baseball Today

Well after a sluggish start on Tuesday the eagles came out ready today Shane Yarnell pitched a gem and Spencer Roger came back to life going 3 for 3 with a RBI and Miles Perkins was 1 for 3. But it was the coaching of Rob Reese a first and third delay steal call and we took the lead. The team also responded to the coach’s challenge. They practice hard on Wednesday and it showed today.  This is a step in the right direction because we want to get better each day we are out there coach Cappy said after the game. He also said “To win. Nothing else matters, and nothing else will do.” But I always come back to what my Dad always told me “To be good you’ve got to have a lot of little boy in you. When you see Willie Mays and Ken Griffey jumping and hopping around the bases after hitting a home run, and the kissing and hugging that goes on at home plate, you realize they have to be little boys.” To all you Dads who have little boys or big boys playing. enjoy each day you have with your kids. GOOD NIGHT

   SEE YOU ON THE FIELD
