Good game at Safeco on Saturday as the Eagles bounced back from a couple costly errors to beat Kentridge 3-2 in extra innings. Senior centerfielder Shane Thomas got the Eagles on the board with a two-run triple in the fourth inning. Five Eagle pitchers combined to hold Kentridge to one hit and two unearned runs until sophomore Cooper Thieme drove in Bryant Hyun, who led off the inning with this third hit of the day, for the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth. The Eagles open league play Monday at home against Skyline.
